We were so sorry to learn of Helen's passing. We were her accountants for many years  and always found her to be so kind and a pleasure to work with. Our thoughts are with her family and friends.

I met Helen about 20 years ago… I had the pleasure of taking care of her mom in their home. She had just recently messaged me about her doctors appt.I am deeply saddened to hear of her home going. She was a very special person. Her kindness was unmeasurable..I remember how she and Allen doted over Melissa.. 😊She may no longer be here in the physical but she left behind a great legacy! May she rest in heavenly paradise🙏

We are so sorry to learn of Helen's passing. She was such a kind person and was the family archivist. My father, Gunter Lewin shared family history with Helen that we never heard until I discovered email correspondence with Helen after he passed. We are sending our sincerest condolences to Melissa and other family and friends of Helen's. 

I first met Helen over 15 years ago when she was looking for an investment property. Investing in homes was a passion of hers. Through these 15 years we became friends and had fun times house hunting “ our adventures as we grew to call them“.  She had a heart of gold

Helen was my boss at VADOC and a wonderful friend. She was so kind and caring. She always had a smile and loved her family and friends so well. She was so great about keeping up with people and taking photos.  She will be missed by so many people.

Your mom and my sister Schuler were good friends. She was always kind to me.  I know she was thrilled to meet her grandchild.  So sorry for your loss.

I spoke with your Mom about a month ago and she was so excited about your baby and becoming a grandmother. I knew Helen from the time I was a child. (I'm 57 now.) For decades, Helen and Mr. Hinshaw worked tirelessly on behalf of Virginia chess. They even had a (spotless) national reputation, as they organized the 1976 and 1996 U.S. Open Championships.  I'll always remember Helen's kindness and her seemingly perpetual smile. RIP.
