McGee, Irene, 71, native of Pittsburgh, PA, passed away May 25, 2015. She lived at 11811 Durrington Dr., North Chesterfield. She was mother of three sons, Sean, Kevin and Brian; and one daughter, Erin. She was a full-time mother and an activist in helping the poor and the needy in community service. She spent 10 years working community service at an organization called Serve in Stafford County, Stafford Emergency Relief Effort. She founded the St. Vincent DePaul Society at St. William of York in Stafford and was its president for 11 years. She was a resident of Virginia from 1977 onward.
Visitation will be at Woody's Funeral Home, Huguenot 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, June 1. The funeral mass is at St. John Neumann in Powhatan, VA,., 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 2.
