Jean Campbell Bradman

BRADMAN, Jean Campbell, of Midlothian, passed away on July 14, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Morton Bradman. She is survived by four daughters, Julia Bradman, Claire Bradman, Sara Bradman, and Jenny Day and her husband, Mitch. Jean has three grandchildren, Zachary, Austin, and Gabriella. Jean was born in Sussex, England and came to the United States as a nanny, where she met her future husband, Morton of almost 50 years. After a few years in New York, they began raising their family in Illinois, finally settling in Chester for more than 30 years. Jean received her Associates in Applied Science degree in Human Services from John Tyler Community College. She volunteered in the Chesterfield County School System for several years. Jean has spent the past several years enjoying her waterfront home in North Carolina and time with her family at home and abroad. The family will receive friends at the Huguenot Chapel of Woody Funeral Home, 1020 Huguenot Road, from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
