Carol and family, How my heart breaks for all of you. May God continue to bless you with his loving comfort and help you find peace dwelling on all that John was in this life, and all he is experiencing with Jesus now and forever. His light will continue to shine in everyone he touched. Love from Mary London, a classmate who briefly attended PCH, and moved to California after our sophomore year, but came back for reunions.

My thoughts are with you now.  I remember fondly seeing your home on Jahnke Rd every day as I came and went from the St. John's Wood apartments during my years in Richmond.  You seemed like such a sweet couple.  I know John will be missed by all his extended family!!

I was older than John by a couple years but John and Joe grew up in our neighborhood.   John was a wonderful young man.. My brothers ran around with them and played with them... We have a nephew that died a few years ago with this same disease.... Our hearts are heavy and he will be very much miss .... Prayers to all

My heart is breaking John and his brother Joe were like big brothers to me growing up.  My brother Butch and David and sister Joyce were neighbors and friends.   My most heartfelt sympathy to his family and friends.  Last time I saw him he was dancing at an alumni dance with his wife - wonderful man.  Dance on John.

I am so sorry to hear of John's passing.  I thought a lot of John, his wit, intelligence and gentle manor.
