Larry Wayne Bowen, 59 of Chesterfield, passed away on January 20, 2015. He was born to the late Mason and Louise Bowen on June 23, 1955. Larry was a member of Bon Air Baptist church; He retired from Dupont after 40 years of service.
Larry is survived by his two beloved daughters Melissa Dawn Bowen and Carrie Ann Lorimer and husband Jason, Two granddaughters Ruby Jane and Ellie Jeanne Lorimer, step mother Anne Bowen and his sister Lona F Pugh and husband David, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Larry loved his family and friends dearly that surrounded him throughout his life. He enjoyed fishing and being with people. We will miss him with all our heart.
The family will receive friends at 10am on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 with a funeral service starting at 11:00am at the Huguenot Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1020 Huguenot Rd. Midlothian, VA. Interment will follow at Dale Memorial Park.
