Linda Jean Fielding, 70, died May 19, 2026. Born April 28, 1956, in West Allis, Wisconsin. Linda’s life was marked by steady devotion and a deep reverence for faith and family. She joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on March 12, 1979, and was married in the Washington D.C. Temple on April 6, 1984.
Her love of religion shaped the way she moved through the world, while her enduring attention to adoption, history, reading, and genealogy spoke to a patient care for people and their stories—an appreciation for where lives begin, how they unfold, and how they are remembered.
Linda was preceded in death by her father, Raymond George Michaud; her mother, Barbara Ann Krall; and her brothers, Steven Michaud and William Michaud. She is survived by her husband, Paul Stanford Fielding; her daughters, Laura Leica Nelson (Jeff), Virginia Leica Fielding, Rebecca Leica Fielding, and Ava Leica Fielding; her grandchildren, Leica Nelson, William Nelson, and Margaret Nelson; her brother, Michael Michaud; and her sisters, Susan Husch and Patricia Chaara.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Chinese Children Adoption International in Centennial, Colorado.
