

She is survived by two siblings, Cecilia V. Dail, Donald (Kristine) Varsho, and many loving extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her husband Daniel Simpson, one sister Rita Piasecki and six brothers, Leo, Joseph, Gene, Norbert, Richard and Andrew Varsho.
Lucy was employed as a secretary with Allied Chemical in Hopewell, VA for many years until she became the office manager for a company known at that time as Signafix.
Lucy and Dan were avid members of St Edward's Catholic Church in Midlothian, VA for many years until they relocated to Powhatan, VA.
After retirement, Lucy enjoyed traveling in Europe and attending Historical Society and Knights of Columbus meetings and outings with Dan. In her spare time she also enjoyed light gardening, reupholstering furniture for resale and updating her family tree. Other hobbies she enjoyed included jewelry and purse making which she would sell at various craft fairs and antique shops.
A small graveside service in Hewitt, WI will be held a later date.
The family would like to thank the staff of Sunrise At Bon Air of Richmond, Virginia, and Traditions Hospice of Glen Allen, Virginia for their loving and compassionate care during Lucy’s final days.
