She is survived by her sister Rosemarie (Wayne) Wilson, son Leon (Mari) Litz Jr. and granddaughters Olivia (16) and Madeline (10).
Lucy grew up in the Washington DC area, graduated from Mt Calvary, and began her life's work in government service while obtaining further education to advance her career. She loved attending family gatherings and church activities and was active in the choir and enjoyed their beach house on the Northern Neck of Virginia.
After retiring in 2003 to Bluffton SC she enjoyed playing scrabble and mahjong with wonderful new friends, country line and ballroom dancing, swimming, and continuing her immense love of travel. Her greatest joy was visiting and spending time with her granddaughters in Virginia.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Canio and Mary Jane (Reda) Metallo, brother, Joseph Metallo, and husband of 49 years, Leon (Buddy) Litz, Sr.
The funeral service will be held at St. Edward Catholic Church in North Chesterfield on Saturday, January 17th at 11 am.
