I knew Marlo for a short time when I lived and worked in Dahlgren, VA. I pray that her memory would bring encouragement and joy as well as the acknowledgement on the fragility of life to all of us.

My condolences go out to the Benito family.  Marlo was always so understanding of me and always toted me around with her at functions.  She was like the mama of our team.  I miss her.

Marlo, You were an awesome colleague and a close friend.  You brought much needed order and efficiency to our safety team in MDA.  I could always count on you whenever I needed help.  You were there for me when I needed someone to listen.  You were a wonderful friend and will be greatly missed by me and many others.

Marlo was a wonderful person with a positive attitude and bright and cheerful outlook on life.  She will be missed by all.

I didnt know Marlo personally, but i worked on her blackberry and her computer a couple of times, she was always so pleasant to me, even when certain issues were out of my control, she made it worth it, to want to resolve it with her calm demeanor. I extend my deepest sympathy to the family. I did not get to work with Marlo very long.  But, from my first meeting with Marlo, I was really impressed by her organizational skills, but even more impressed by her kindness. Again, my sympathy to the family.

I just heard about Marlo's death as I didn't see her obituary in the Fredericksburg paper. I worked with Marlo in early 2000. She was a very bright, dedicated individual. I've got about 20 years experience over her, but she taught me a lot! She was also a very caring, sweet girl and I really liked her. So sorry for your loss.

Marlo was a great co-worker and friend.  Always willing to help out whenever needed.  She cared greatly for others and gave 110% in any effort she undertook.  She will be greatly missed!

I was shocked and saddened to hear of Marlo's passing.  She was my roommate, along with Kelly George and Raechelle Narvaez, our senior year of college at MWC.  Marlo always seemed so happy, no matter what was going on.  I won't forget her smile or her laugh.  She was kind enough to let me spend the night at her apartment one evening about a year or so after graduation.  She was a kind soul, and I know she will be missed.  My thoughts and prayers are with your family at this time.

I shared rides with Marlo in our vanpool from Richmond for the past few years. I remember distinctly one morning I was driving, Marlo sat in front with me and asked about my family. She was so sunny and considerate, a natural friend. We will miss her terribly. My condolences to all her friends and the Benito family.

Marlo and I crossed paths many times over the last 10 years.   We were even office mates for a while.   During that time I had the privilege to get to know Marlo well.   I always respected Marlo.  She was a smart cookie and very capable.  I will miss my friend, her kind smile, and laugh.  My sincerest condolences to her family.

Marlo was one of the kindest people that I have ever known.  I never heard her speak negatively nor slight anyone.  We lost a great one.

I graduated with Marlo's sister, Verna (Class of 1993) and my sister, Melissa, graduated with Marlo.  Although I didn't know Marlo very well, my sister did and loved her very much!  I know she will be missed by everyone that knew her.  Verna, my heart goes out to you and your family. To the Benito Family: My heart goes out to all of you.   Marlo and I became friends in high school and went to JMU together.  I will always remember her most for her genuine soul.  She was always so positive and nice to everyone she met.  She took the time to get to know people and genuinely cared.  Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Marlo was a classmate of mine from Midlothian High School Class of 1995 and I remember her being such a wonderful friend to me after we graduated from Midlothian High School.
 About three or four years ago she even told me about this website called Facebook where you can stay in touch with old friends from Midlothian High School and beyond.
 Marlo was there for me whenever I needed someone to talk to or just make a phone call too and I will truly miss talking to her.

My condolences to the entire Benito family. Marlo was such a sweet and kind person. She will be missed. She and your family is in my prayers.

In the short number of years I have known Marlo, she went from contractor to group lead providing valued help to management. She had a very attractive personality. My parents would say that she probably never met somebody she didn't like. She was generous with her time and abilities. 

I am glad to have known her and my sympathies to her other friends and family.

Marlo was a truly wonderful woman--always smiling and positive.  I loved stopping by her desk to talk.  The world was a better place because of Marlo and she will be missed by so many.

I met Marlo in 2003 when she became eligible for commuter vouchers under the Transportation Incentive Program (TIP) and completed an application for commuting via a van pool.  I enjoyed interacting with her the past 8 years.  She was such a pleasant person with a wonderful spirit.  This morning, I had TIP distribution of vouchers and realized she wouldn't be there at the end of the conference room table (she always sat down to chat, while many others, picked-up their vouchers, signed, and left) to pick up her quarterly vouchers.  My heart was saddened, but touched because I've had the opportunity to have known her.  To the Benito Family, my blessings and condolences are extended to your family.  May the Grace of God be with you all during this difficult loss of your beloved Marlo.

you were a truly special person, always so eager to help, always with a "yes" on your lips and a happy face.  If someone deserves heaven that would be you.  Although way to soon I know you are in the best place to be right now.  The G70 family will miss you dearly.

Marlo posesssed an extremely intelligent, fastidious, scientific brain wrapped in a kind and thoughtful womanly mind.  First a coworker, I came to think of her as a friend.  She will be deeply missed and remembered always.

  Marlo was a special co-worker for several years at Dahlgren.  She was a pleasure to work with and I considered her a valued colleague.  I was so saddened to hear of her passing, not only a monumental loss to her family and friends but also to the Navy where her work was so important.
