

Born in Brooklyn, New York, on May 13, 1945, Marty grew up on Long Island, graduated from Jericho Senior High School, and attended the C.W. Post campus of Long Island University, earning his degree in accounting and business management. After obtaining his CPA license, Marty built a successful career in finance, always remembered not only for his expertise but also for the kindness and personal care he showed to everyone around him.
Marty’s life was forever changed when he met Camille, the love of his life, while she was working as a hostess. Married for nearly 56 years, their bond inspired all who knew them. Marty often joked that Camille was the boss who always kept him on his toes, and their good-natured teasing kept everyone entertained with their witty exchanges. Together, they opened The New Yorker Bar & Grill, where Marty and Camille warmly welcomed friends, neighbors, and strangers alike, turning their restaurant into a beloved gathering place full of friendship and community spirit.
An avid car enthusiast, Marty had a passion for classic automobiles, often delighting family and friends with his quiet yet infectious enthusiasm. His subtle sense of humor, often revealed in charming stories and gentle teasing, had a special way of uplifting those around him. Marty was exceptionally generous and caring, effortlessly forming deep, lasting friendships.
Martin was preceded in death by his cherished wife Camille, daughter Dawn, mother Yvette, and father Irving.
He is survived by his daughters Wendy and Traci; his brother Larry; and grandchildren Nicole and her husband Matt, Stephen, Michael, Kristina, and Christopher. Marty's legacy of warmth, laughter, and devotion will continue to inspire and comfort his beloved family.
Marty often shared this wisdom with younger generations: "Never give your life to a job or career; enjoy life."
Martin's unwavering love and dedication to family, friends, and above all, Camille, leaves behind an enduring legacy now reunited in eternal peace.
He will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever celebrated.
