She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Mark Salyer; her daughter, Sherrie; her parents, Cody and Dorothy; and her siblings, Johnny, Polly, Sheila, and Roger.
Mildred is survived by her son, Christopher; her granddaughters, Amanda and Brittney; and her cherished great-grandchildren, Aiden, Brody, Landon, Mason, and Vinny and siblings Claude and Marlene.
A woman of many passions, Mildred found joy in sewing, nurturing her love for animals, and most importantly, spending time with her family. She will be remembered for her warmth, kind heart, and dedication to those she loved.
In this time of sorrow, the family finds comfort in knowing that Mildred’s legacy of love, creativity, and devotion will live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
A visitation will be held Friday 2/14/25 from 11am-12pm with her funeral service following at 12 noon at Woody’s Funeral Home Huguenot Chapel at 1020 Huguenot Rd. Midlothian, VA 23113. Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park at 2901 W Hundred Rd. Chester, VA 23831.
