He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia C. Brady; his daughters, Lauren B. Carroll (Seth R.) and Kathryn B. Combs (Brett A.); his grandchildren, Thomas A. Carroll and Elizabeth J. Carroll; his sister, Maribeth B. Zedd (Larry) of Virginia Beach; and his nephews, Brady Zedd and Zachary Zedd.
Kirk was born on January 3, 1948, in Suffolk, Virginia, to Paul and Elizabeth Brady. He graduated from the University of Richmond and the Florida State University School of Business Administration. He was the President and owner of Matrix Marketing Research in Richmond, Virginia. Kirk was a member of St. Michael’s Episcopal Church in Bon Air, Virginia.
In his free time, Kirk was a sculptor, mask maker, and amateur filmmaker. Many of his friends participated in the making of his movies.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at St. Michael’s Episcopal Church, 2040 McRae Road, Bon Air, Virginia 23235.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Michael’s Episcopal Church.
