JENSEN, Richard H. “Slick”, 84, of Midlothian, died August 23, 2013. Survivors include his wife, Barbara Fredette Jensen; two stepchildren, David Maxie and his wife, Gaylan and Sharon Pond and her husband, Johnny; five grandchildren; one brother, Robert Jensen and his wife Rosalie, of Melbourne, Fla.; one sister-in-law, Janet Jensen of Centreville, Va.; and other extended family members. Mr. Jensen retired from Dominion Resources after 36 ½ years of service. He was honorably discharged from the U.S. Naval Reserve. His remains rest at the Huguenot Chapel of Woody Funeral Home, 1020 Huguenot Road, where the family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday and where funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday. Interment Maury Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Woodland Heights Baptist Church, where Richard was a lifetime member.
