Robert "Bobby" Henry Lynch, Jr., of North Chesterfield, passed away on the morning of July 16th, at his home, surrounded by his family. Born in Crewe, Virginia on November 7th, 1935, this Crewe boy married a Farmville girl, Marie Shepard Lynch, 62 years ago.
In addition to his wife he is survived by two children; son, Douglas (Karen Crenshaw) and daughter, Page Taylor (Carroll); four grandchildren, Katherine, Roxanne, Cassidy and Davis. Bobby and Marie were recently blessed with their first great-grandchild, a sweet baby boy, Henry Douglas. Bobby is also survived by a sister Mary Lynch Lloyd.
In 1971, Bobby and his family were transferred to Richmond with his employment with Virginia Power (now Dominion Energy), where he retired with 32 years of service. Bobby and his family have enjoyed their years in Richmond where they continue to reside.
During his lifetime Bobby loved playing golf in Crewe and Richmond and being an avid deer hunter with grandson, Davis.
There will be a visitation for friends and family on Thursday, July 20, 2017 from 4-6 p.m. at Woody Funeral Home, Huguenot Chapel, 1020 Huguenot Road Midlothian, Virginia 23113.
