Verlee Betty Thomson

THOMSON, Verlee Betty, of Midlothian, widow of Richard Thomson, died June 20, 2014. She was born to the late William and Lily Horner in Hayden, Colorado on November 15, 1926. Survivors include her brother, Jack Horner and his wife, Nita of Dumont, Colorado; three sons, Kevin Thomson and his wife, Karlee of Spotsylvania, Brian Thomson of Richmond, and Brad Thomson and his wife, Kara of Loveland, Ohio; her grandchildren, Kelly Markey and her husband, Nathan, Kurt Thomson, Meagan Thomson all of Richmond, Rebecca Thomson of Gladstone, Va., and Emma Thomson of Loveland, Ohio; her great-grandchildren, Anya Markey and Lachlan Markey both of Richmond; niece, Lisa Pobrislo and her husband, James of Greenwood Village, Colorado; and nephew, Randy Horner and his wife, Julia of Fox Island, Washington. Her interests included music, needlework, square dancing and a love of dogs. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, July 3, 2014, at the Huguenot Chapel of Woody Funeral Home, 1020 Huguenot Road.
