

Melba June Burtcher Hill, former resident of Midwest City, OK, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Jan. 27, 2015 in Washington. She was born June 22, 1935 in Deming, NM. Her life was a testimony to love, gentleness, kindness, and commitment to family and friends. She enjoyed cooking, crochet and visiting with anyone who came near. She retired in 1997 from Tinker AFB as a Logistics Management Specialist. Preceding her in death were her parents, N.B. and Thelma (Nance) Burtcher; her 1st husband, Sherman Hackbarth; her 2nd husband, Clarence Hill; and brother, Ira Don Burtcher. She is survived by 2 sons, Christopher (Sylvia) Hackbarth and Randy (Emmah) Hackbarth; 2 daughters, Kimberly (Quinn) Boyington; and Dayna (Kevin) Johnson; 2 brothers, Wayne Burtcher; and Charles (Sandra) Burtcher; and 9 grandchildren, Adrienne (Anthony) Najera, Kristen (Ryan) Fagan, Jesse (Amber) Lopez, Lauren (Zachary) Malone, Keith Hackbarth Christina (Steve) Hernandez, Danielle Hackbarth, Kimber Dayton, and Madison Johnson.. She will be missed by many. We celebrate her "home-going" to Heaven and freedom from the pain and cares of this world. Those of us who have trusted Jesus as our Lord and Savior are comforted to know we will see her again. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 7, 2015 at Paylor Family Funeral Care Chapel, MWC City, OK, with entombment to follow at Arlington Memory Gardens Mausoleum, MWC, OK.
