Jean was born April 12th, 1938 to Gevene and Marshall Lee Moore. Jean married Don T. Thorkildsen and had three beautiful daughters. They later divorced.
Jean later married on December 5th, 1985 to the love of her life Fred Bodenstedt. He was her whole world. Jean worked for O.C. Tanner Company for about seven years then later retired. Jean and Fred had a lot of fun together. They enjoyed many trips to Wendover, Las Vegas and many other places with both of them always wearing lavish clothing. One of their greatest passions was shopping. They loved finding the perfect gifts for family and friends. They loved donating to those in need. Jean would always tell the stories of where they donated and how happy that made her. Jean never held back with her thoughts, she was honest with you and would let you know what she really thought and felt. She had a contagious laugh and playfully teased which always made being around her a way to escape the world’s problems for a brief moment.
Jean is preceded in death by her husband Fred Bodenstedt, her parents Gevene and Marshall, her stepfather James Sorensen, her sister’s Colleen Lund, June Berger and Carol Steele. She is survived by her daughters Tamera(Ray)Kolkman, Debra(Darren)Pollick, Michelle Grant, Tami(Earl)Snyder, Hans Bodenstedt, Marie(Wayne)Gibbs, eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
