Our beautiful sweet wife, mother, grandmother, and friend passed away peacefully October 5, 2014 after being surrounded by her loved ones. She was born November 5, 1927 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Louis Grant and Grace Karren Hansen.
Barbara graduated from East High School in 1944. She married the love of her life 67 years ago in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Together they shared a wonderful marriage. She was a member of the Church where she held many positions throughout her life. Her career included 38 years with the State of Utah as the administrative assistant for the Utah State Fair Director. Barbara was a great volunteer. She served as the secretary for the Days of 47 Parade committee for many years. She was a hard working, dedicated, organized and determined lady who always displayed compassion for others. She had a contagious smile, warm heart, quick wit, and was very caring and generous. She was the social event planner who always brought friends and loved ones together. Barbara enjoyed many memorable experiences with friends and family at the cabin, in St. George, and in Jackson Hole. Words cannot express how much she will be missed. We are all so grateful to have known and loved her.
She is survived by her husband, Sidney Ralph Busby, daughters, Cydnee Fullmer and Susan Rogalski (Robert), brother, David Lee Hansen, nieces, Judy Hansen and Marsha Hansen, five grandchildren, Adriane Moeller (Matthew), Ashlee Racine, Bronson Fullmer, Scott Swensen (Stephanie), and Kristin Swensen, along with six great grandchildren, Makailee, Makenzie, Tristan, Ella, Lincoln, and Avery.
