Barbara T. Freed Clark

Barbara was born December 15, 1945 in Salt Lake City to Joseph Raymond and Donna V. Parker Thornblad. Barbara was predeceased by her parents and younger brother, Jerald (Jerry) Raymond Thornblad.

Barbara worked as an executive secretary for Medical Physics, Inc. Barbara loved sewing, crafts, cooking, photography, and digital editing and preservation. She loved good jokes, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, and was a devoted reader. She adored her family and was a strong support for those she loved.

Barbara is survived by her brother, Randy; children, Lisa (Rod) Guymon, Eric Freed, Kathryn (Wayne) Stone, and Jeremy (Cassidy) Freed; eight grandchildren, Katie, Nick, and Garrett (Guymon); Autumn, Abigail, and Aowyn (Stone); Goldie and Parker (Freed); and her Han Solo cardboard standee.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 08,2026, 1pm at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 S. Highland Dr. A visitation will take place one hour prior to graveside services.

A visitation will be held at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, located at 3401 S. Highland Drive, Millcreek, Utah, 84106, on January 8, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.

A graveside service will follow in the Sunrise Garden at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, also at 3401 S. Highland Drive, Millcreek, Utah, 84106, starting at 1:00 pm on January 8, 2026.
