Bruce Lamar Clark

1940 ~ 2011

Born, July 9, 1940 to Ruby Warenski Clark and William Lamar Clark. He lived in Ely Nevada until 1950 were he attended Ely Elementary until he was 10 years old. His family moved to Salt Lake City where he attended McKinnley Elementary for 5th & 6th grade, Hillside Jr. High and East High School graduating in 1958.

He was the second of six children, four girls and two boys. Soon after school he joined the National Guard, training in Fort Ord. After that he started working at EIMCO and went to the University of Utah. He met and married Karma Jean Yates. That marriage was blessed by three sons Russell Bruce, Scott Allen & John Lamar. The marriage ended in divorce, but his boys were his whole life. He then married Linda Garlick and her children Todd, Tammy, Glen & Dirk. They later divorced and he married Connie Nielson her kids are Linda & Gordon. Father of three, step-father of six and divorced. He had an accident and fell from a six and a half foot fence and ended in a swimming pool for a long time. He spent a year in the Cottonwood hospital unconscious and another year in a recovery center.

His parents retired and brought him home to rehabilitate. He lived with them until they passed away. His sisters took over after their passing. Ardine passed away and Linda took over. It became necessary for him to be placed in a Health center, July 2011 where he had wonderful care and had a lot of folks watching over him, thanks to the staff and patients of Spring Creek Health Care Center and everyone who took care of him for the last 32 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Maurine, Doris, Ardine Foote and brother Burton. Survived by sons: Russell and Medi Clark, Dr. Scott Clark and Michell Clark, John Clark, sister Linda Gordon Gold and Lloyd Foote, eight grandchildren, Hunter, Kayden, Wyatt, Hunter, Mayson, Chase, Madison, and Brian, six nieces and three nephews,

Services will be held Thursday Nov 17, 2011 at 1:00pm Wasatch Lawn Mortuary Chapel, 3401 Highland Drive. Salt Lake City Utah, 84106, with a viewing 1 hour prior.
