To all of Carol's family I sincerely send my condolences for the passing of you mother, grandmother and great grandmother.  Our family is rapidly leaving us for a much better place.  I am so sorry and wish you all the comfort my words and thoughts can give to you at this time.  I surely loved your Mom.  I couldn't have had a better, nicer, generous sister. We are out of town and feel bad we will miss Carol's funeral services. We have been blessed to know Carol and Bill through the years as our neighbors and friends. We were thankful that she wanted to stay in their house after Bill passed away. 
She loved going out for brunch or lunch with the girls.  
We send our love and sympathies to Carol's children and grandchildren, and to Bob, Shelly and their families and Mark and his family. The Cunningham's were very good to Carol.

Dearest Family:

I am so grateful to have had Carol and the entire Thomas family in my life. Carla, Kevin, Ronda & Coleen your loss is felt deeply. Carol, and all of you bring back my fondest childhood memories as our families spent each summer weekend together playing.

Carol spent two weeks with us in Las Vegas a couple of years ago and it was incredible, she had her upbeat spirit and love of life attitude as usual.  I truly love Carol.

Having suffered the loss of my own father as well, I have some idea of what you and your family are going through. No comfort is adequate for such a loss.

My Mother LaVonne and the rest of the Larsen's send our thoughts and prayers to all of you and your family at this difficult time.   As we are living in Las Vegas and as we remain…….God be with you.

Kevin, Carla, Ronda & Colleen...I am so sorry for your loss. I loved your mom. She taught me many things over the years, but the lesson I value most was taught by her example; how to be strong and independent, and how to raise some incredible kids all on her own. She was a beautiful, funny, and fun-loving, dynamic lady and I feel honored to have been part of her life. I am thinking of you all, and hope you know how much I love each of you.

We enjoyed Carol and Bill as our neighbors.  We share a lot of common interests.  Carol was a gracious lady and loved to "chat" " either in her home or over the fence or on the sidewalk.  We have missed not having her close by.

To Carol's family,
I have many fond memories of the time I spent with your mother and dad during our teaching yrs. at HCH and for years after.  We all had such great times together with our kids and all of you--ice skating in your back yard w/chili after, at our cabin, and just visiting and playing at our homes.  I hope all the good memories with your mom help you through this difficult time.  Wish I could give each of you a hug in person.  Since I cannot, pretend!
