

She was 82. Carol was born on January 16, 1943, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Elaine Bingham Weenig and Christian Noorda Weenig.
Carol was deaf, but this did not limit her. She lived with independence, navigating her life with determination and cheerfulness. She built a successful life and earned the admiration of many.
Carol’s faith was very important to her. She was a valiant member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Carol served two missions, the first to Orange County California. Later in life Carol served a senior service mission as a deaf missionary helping with ASL translations and FamilySearch.
Carol remained active in church service throughout her life. Her strong commitment to The Savior was seen in her actions and service to others.
Carol is happily reunited with her mother Elaine who she was very close to as well as her father and two brothers, Dennis and Keith Weenig, and her nephew Dustin. She is survived by two sisters-in-law, four nephews, and two nieces. Carol loved being around her family who will miss her until they meet again.
All friends and family are invited to attend a viewing to be held Friday March 14, 2025 at 1:00 pm to 1:45, with a graveside service to follow at 2:00 pm. Services located at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park and Mortuary, 3401 South Highland Drive, Millcreek, Utah 84106.
Carol will be missed but remembered by those who knew her.
