Charles (Chuck) Bowring

Chuck graduated from Granite High School in Salt Lake City. While attending the University of Utah, he played the bass guitar in the band The Devonshires. After graduating, he started his career in computer engineering at Evans & Sutherland.

On February 14, 2007, Chuck married Carol Jeanne Ehlers and was later sealed on February 14, 2012 in the Jordan River Temple. Chuck loved working in his yard, relaxing on his deck, scrapping computer stuff, and shopping at big box stores. He was a kind and sensitive man who was loved by his friends and family alike. He will be greatly missed.

Chuck is survived by his wife Carol, sister, Linda (Marc) Edminster, two daughters, Angie (Justin) Kennedy and Shauna (Trent) Maddox, a step-son Justin (Megan Hooley) Crail, five grandchildren and six nieces and nephews.

Chuck is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Stephen Burgner.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, January 23rd at 2:00 p.m. at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park in the Rest Haven section (enter from 3300 S), 3401 S. Highland Drive, Salt Lake City, UT 84106.
