Colleen Broadwater Whiteman passed away October 23, 2016 after a fierce battle with cancer. She was born October 28, 1925 to Maurice and Marie Broadwater; married Carl H Whiteman January 4, 1954. Colleen loved her life as an airline pilot’s wife and created beautiful homes in California, Utah, Tennessee, Delaware, Hawaii, and Washington. During this time, they raised two daughters. Colleen is survived by daughters Nancy Marie (Dunyon), Carol Ann (Howell), brother Jay Broadwater, grandchildren James Dunyon, Megan Reynolds, Courtney Taylor, great-grandchildren Shawn Dunyon, Devinee Dunyon, Dalaynee Dunyon, Ryleigh Reynolds, many loved nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was proceeded in death by her parents, husband Carl, brothers Gordon and Ronald, sisters Marjorie and Geraldine, son-in-laws Butch Dunyon and Norm Self, grandson Michael Dunyon. At mother’s request, a graveside service will be held October 28, 2016 at 2:00 at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, 3401 Highland Drive.
