Cornelia "Cora" Sparreboom Adams

Cora was born March 25, 1938 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Peter and Anneke Lena Sparreboom. She graduated from Granite High School in 1956 and enjoyed keeping in touch with her "Granite Girls" since graduation. Cora married Robert "Bob" Adams June 21, 1956 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

Cora was involved in the family dairy business, Burton Place Dairy, and later with Cream O'Weber Dairy. Throughout her husband's career in the fire service, Cora was a big supporter and heavily involved in the Utah State Firemen's Association. She was also director of the Salt Lake Kiwanis Girls Club for 11 years. Additionally, Cora was an active member of the LDS church, where she held many callings.

Loving to craft and decorate, Cora enjoyed working in her home, and hosting parties and events. She loved spending time with her family, keeping a close relationship with her son and grandsons in Utah, while also enjoying trips to California to visit her daughter and granddaughters.

Survived by: son Scott (Rebecca) Adams, daughter Coralee (Matthew) Nickel; brother Peter Sparreboom Jr.; 5 grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild. Preceded in death by her parents; sister Christina Miller; and husband Robert "Bob" Adams.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 25, 2025 at 11:00 am at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 S. Highland Drive, Millcreek, Utah 84106. Friends and family are invited to visit between 10:00 - 10:45 am.

Interment: Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
