Diane was born in Salt Lake City to Cyril and Ida Boothe. She loved her life growing up on the east bench, attending Skyline High School. After Graduating in the class of 1971, she went on to receive her secretary certificate at the University of Utah, where she enjoyed square dancing with her friends. She met her then husband Rick (Graham), and they went on to have 4 beautiful children.
Diane was vibrant, silly and fun. Sarcasm, jokes and funny faces were second nature to her, and she taught her children well. She extended this joy to anyone she got to know, especially beloved neighbors, friends and coworkers over the years.
She was a dedicated and hardworking woman throughout her life, becoming a beloved teammate in every place she worked. She retired from Qwest (Mountain-Bell, US West) after 35 years, going on to a second career at Home Depot for another 14. She was a positive force, and spent much of her life dedicated to helping those around her.
Diane’s favorite things were her family, and Disney. A fan of Mickey for life, she relished at the chance to visit, “the mouse” at every opportunity. Disney truly was her happiest place on earth, and she wanted nothing more than to share that joy with her children and grandchildren.
Diane devoted her life to her faith, as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She loved her ward family, going to the temple as often as possible, and had faith in her family for eternity through the Gospel.
