

Diane Kartevold born May 17 1952 in Salt Lake City, Utah daughter of George and Elsie Fudge. Graduated from Skyline High School in 1970 where she was the President of the Dance Club and then went on to the University if Utah where she majored in dance.
In 1971 she married Daryl Grangroth (deceased) and together they adopted Taylor D. Grangroth in May of 1981.
Diane married Rikard (Rik) Kartevold on October 11th 1984 and were later sealed in the temple for time and all eternity in February 1987.
Diane and Rik enjoyed traveling all over the world including a special trip to the summer Olympics in Sydney Australia in 2000 where Rik worked. But most often they found themselves on a beach which was always Diane's favorite place to be.
She was an valiant member of the LDS church her whole life and spent 28 years in Young Woman's where she loved serving in many different callings. Most recently she served as the Primary President of the Cottonwood Creek Ward.
Diane was diagnosed with cancer in December and lost her battle on February 6th 2014.
Diane is survived by her husband Rikard Arnet Kartevold, her son Scott Arnet Kartevold, Brandon Scott Kartevold, Jennifer Lorraine Hadden and Taylor D. Grangroth. As will as the three grandchildren Peyton Kartevold, Keggen Scott Kartevold McKenna Carol Kartevold. Diane's two sisters Linda May Tuttle and Susan Leslie Smith and 8 nieces and nephews as well as 13 great nieces and nephews.
