

Dottie, as she was known to her friends and family, was born in Baltimore, Maryland on December 28th 1940. She was adopted at the age of three and raised by her parents Lloyd and Chloe Park who raised her in a loving home. She married her eternal companion, Richard Martin Muse on August 22, 1958 and was later solemnized in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple.
Dottie lived a life of service to her family, friends, and Church. She was a dedicated member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and spent many years as the ward organist in the Millcreek 5th ward.
Dottie always taught her children the meaning of gratitude and giving thanks in all things. She was a great example and well loved by all she came in contact with.
Her family especially her Grandchildren were the highlight of her life. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Richard Muse; Her children Sherrie (Daniel) Dwyer of Castle Rock, Co; Richard Muse of W. Jordan, UT; Cory Muse of W. Jordan, UT; Michael (Tawnya) Muse of Highland, Ut; Dana (Jeffrey) Wood of Taylorsville, Ut; Her 11 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren; A sister Alice Bizzell of Hope Mills NC; A brother Richard Scott of St. George, Ut. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Arlene Mullins and brothers Sheldon Park, Bob Scott and Bill Scott.
Funeral Services will be held July 12, 2014 at 11:00 am at the Welby Stake Center located at 8841 S 4800 W, West Jordan, Utah with a viewing one hour prior, as well as a viewing Friday 6-8:00pm at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary located at 3401 S Highland Drive, Salt Lake City, Utah. Interment will be held at Elysian Burial Gardens at 1075 E 4580 S, Murray, Utah following services.
