

She was born September 18, 1928 in Kanab, Utah to Othello C. Bowman and Grace Woolley. She attended and graduated from East High School, and attended and graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in Elementary education.
She married Glenn N. Taylor on August 18, 1950 in Salt Lake City.
She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Valley View Second Ward for 57 years, where she held multiple positions including Primary President, Relief Society President , Librarian and Stake Sports program position.
She was an active member of the Utah Veterinary Association’s Auxiliary, where she enjoyed time with other Veterinarian’s wives in multiple activities.
She was an avid fan of the University of Utah Basketball team and along with Glenn, they were one of their biggest supporters.
Her greatest joys in life always came when she could spend time with her children, grandchildren and her great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Yvonne (Val) Heiner, Eric (Holly) Taylor, Annette (Bill) Dunson, sister Chloe Barnes, eleven grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, mother, sister Grace Collins, brother Othello Conrad Bowman Jr. and husband Glenn N. Taylor.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, March 19 from 9:30 am until 10:45 am with the funeral to be held immediately following at 11 AM at the Holladay North Stake Center, 4395 Albright Drive, Holladay, UT. Interment will be held immediately following the services at Wasatch Lawn cemetery 3401 S. Highland Drive. www.wasatchlawn.com.
