George Chris Ziakas

4 September, 1958 – 13 March, 2022

Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park and Mortuary

George left us on Sunday, March 13th following a brief illness.

He was born September 4, 1958 to George Ziakas and Julia Javaras in Salt Lake City. George was a graduate of Skyline High School and served as a paratrooper in the army.

George had many talents and held a variety of jobs during his life. During the last 15 years, George devoted himself to caring for his mother, Julia, for which we are extremely grateful.

He is preceded in death by his father, George, and his niece Stacey. George is survived by his mother, Julia; sister, Mary (Ray) Fox; brother, John (Brooke) Ziakas, niece, Kristina (Mathew) Fox; nephews, Eric Gruber and Kameron Ziakas.

George shall live on in the memories of his family and friends. A private interment will be held at a later date.
