was born on November 11, 1926 in Basel, Switzerland to Joseph Stäuble and Clara Martha
Schmiedle. She studied Fashion Design and Textile Chemistry in Switzerland and came to
America at the age of 23 with her sweet grandmother on the last voyage of the Queen Mary. She
married Charles Rodney Madsen on November 1, 1950 in the Salt Lake Temple. Heidi worked
for two years as a dental assistant. She was a very talented seamstress and loved to make clothes
for herself and others. She also enjoyed gardening and painting. Preceded in death by her
parents, sister and husband. Viewing on Tuesday, February 19 from 10:30-11:30 am followed
by the funeral at 12:00 noon at the East Mill Creek 12th Ward, 3103 E. Craig Drive (about 3700
S.), Salt Lake City, Utah. Interment at Wasatch Lawn, 3401 Highland Drive.
