Jaron was born April 13, 1977, in Murray, Utah, to James and Lori Roe. He was a devoted son, brother, and uncle who will be remembered for his gentle spirit and generous heart.
Jaron was blessed with a humble, meek, and patient personality. He rarely raised his voice to anyone. He was kind and loving, a wonderful listener, and was a great example of Christlike love as he was always willing to serve others without complaint. He touched the lives of many and was loved by all who knew him.
He was an especially devoted son to his parents, who relied on him for help with technology, home projects, party planning, shopping, and countless other needs—even putting up the Christmas lights each year. He was always ready to assist family members with financial and tax matters and was dependable in every way.
Jaron graduated from West Jordan High School in 1995. He earned his Eagle Scout award and later served a two-year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Knoxville, Tennessee. He graduated from LDS Business College with a degree in Accounting. He worked at West American Distributing, where he met his dear friend, Laura Rice. Their friendship continued throughout the years, and she remained very dear to him and to his family. He later worked for Morgan Bay Management before transitioning to work from home as an accountant for the family business.
Jaron had many interests and hobbies. He loved being in the kitchen, especially baking Christmas treats for his family. He enjoyed Harry Potter, Star Trek, reading John Grisham novels, doing puzzles, and playing video games. He had a special love for snow—as long as he could enjoy it from the warmth indoors.
As the oldest of five children, Jaron was a wonderful big brother to his four younger sisters. He was always supportive of their activities and interests. He shared a special bond with each of them, including passing on his love of video games to his youngest sister, whom he enjoyed teaching and playing alongside.
Jaron also loved 80s music and movies. He and his oldest sister, close in age, enjoyed spending time together, attending concerts, going to the Olympics, and seeing new movies in theaters.
Jaron was a beloved uncle to his nine nieces and nephews, who adored him. He created lasting memories through the time he spent with his family, and his presence will be deeply missed by them.
In recent years, Jaron enjoyed planning family vacations, especially trips to historical sites, and became the family’s trusted travel planner and guide. He was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served faithfully in many callings, most recently serving in the bishopric as Assistant Ward Financial Clerk.
He is survived by his parents, James and Lori Roe; his sisters, Kami (Angie) Roe, Melisa (Mike) Warner, Amy (Sam) Maw, and Stacie (Collin) Steele; and his nine nieces and nephews: Katelyn (Jaden), Sydney, Johnny, Brooks, Steven, Lucy, Kade, Oliver, and Violet.
