John Gary Evans

Gary graduated from South High School, Class of 1953. Following graduation, he served in the U.S. Military for nearly 4 years. After his service, he met and married the love of his life, Judy B Evans. They celebrate 63 years of marriage in August. Gary worked in the wholesale bakery business for 12 years before starting his career of 45 years in health and life insurance. Gary was the family jokester – always making those around him laugh. He loved to play golf, travel, camp, tell stories and take photographs. Gary was a founding member of ProGroup and a passionate member of the Utah Association of Health Underwriters.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Bruce. Gary is survived by his loving wife, Judy; his sons Bradley Scot (Jerilyn) and Michael John; grandchildren Eric (Rachael), Ashley (Peter), Sophie, Preston, Tyler, Mathew, Sara (Colby), Adam, and Katie; great-grandchildren Alyse and Elliette; brother Max Evans (Kaye); and many nieces, nephews and friends.

In memory of Gary, a viewing will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2022, from 11am-12pm followed by the Graveside Service at 12:30-1:30 pm. Services will be held at the Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park & Mortuary, 3401 South Highland Drive, Millcreek, UT 84106.
