Joy Ann (Verde) VanRoosendaal age 85 passed away September 3, 2017 in Taylorsville, Utah to John and Ethel Verde. She graduated with a Bachelor’s from the U of U. She married Daniel “Pete” VanRoosendaal in Salt Lake City, Utah. Joy was a wonderful school teacher who loved to golf and take trips to Wendover. She also loved her nieces and nephews, who in turn loved her. The family wishes to express gratitude to Golden living for making her last few months some of her best days ever. Sherri, she really loved you. Graveside services will be Saturday, September 9, 2017 at 2:00PM at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, 3401 South Highland Drive, SLC.
