Laurel F. Eaton, age 83, passed away on November 21, 2013 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born on May 9, 1930 in Salt Lake City to Carl Gottfred Fernelius and Esther Olivia Kim. She graduated from West High School. She married Charles Everett Eaton on April 16, 1948 in Salt Lake City. They were later sealed in the Jordan River Temple on June 17, 2003. She loved going to Bear Lake and down south to “Yuma” when dad was alive. She enjoyed line dancing and crocheting. She was a temple worker for 6 ½ years.
Laurel is survived by her children; Daniel (Nola), Donald E. (Kathleen), Mark, Denise Sheffield, Lolly (Dave) Stull, and brother; Wayne Fernelius. She has 17 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, 1 sister and 2 brothers.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 Highland Dr, SLC. The family will receive friends on Tuesday night from 6:00-8:00 at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary and one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
