

Lori was born August 8, 1961, in Seattle, Washington to Edward and Sandra Terry Lippert. She was raised in Edmonds, Washington; Fairbanks, Alaska; and Kent, Washington. She played varsity basketball and graduated from Kentridge Sr. High School.
After high school she attended Brigham Young University and Green River Community College.
She served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Frankfurt, Germany in the early 1980s where she met her future husband, Christian Kreissl.
Lori and Christian were married in the Seattle Temple in 1985. Their first years of marriage were spent in Ravensburg, Germany where Christian was was born and raised. While in Germany, they welcomed to their family two daughters, Mallory and Colleen. The family later moved to the Auburn, Washington area and two more daughters were added to the family, Kelsey and Cady.
Lori and Christian later divorced.
Lori worked as a medical transcriptionist and later spent many years working for the Auburn school district in the computer lab at Auburn High School. She moved to Utah in 2022 to be closer to family. She was a resident of Stansbury Park, Utah and worked as a substitute para-educator.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Sandra Terry Loftus and stepfather, Jule H. Loftus.
She is survived by her two brothers: Jeffrey (Theresia) Loftus, South Jordan, UT; and, Mykel (Jennifer) Loftus, Riverdale, Utah; former husband, Christian Kreissl, Auburn, Washington; daughters Mallory (Richard) Robinson, Colleen (Blain) Thomas, Kelsey (Bryson) Stafford, and Cady (Daniel) Kiuttu. Lori loved her grandchildren: Rylee, Paisley, Rocky Thomas, Jett, Maude Stafford, Edison, Harrison, Pierson Kiuttu.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 23 in Tooele, Utah. Lori will be interred next to her mother, Sandra, and grandmother, Gladys Terry, in Roy Cemetery, Roy, Washington.
