

Luceille H. Reed, 92, left mortality on July 17, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, July 22nd at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2300 West and Grays Dr., Lehi, UT. A viewing will be held from 9 - 10:45 a.m., prior to services at the church. Interment will be at Rosedale Memorial Gardens in Payette, ID on July 26, 2013. Originally from Payette, ID, she was living with her daughter and son-in-law in Lehi, UT, at the time of her passing. She was born on Oct. 7, 1920, in Poplar, ID to Marion Henry Harmon and Florence Edlene (Fogg) Harmon. Mom graduated from Weiser High School and attended the NYA School at the Intermountain Institute in Weiser for her Nurses training. While living in Weiser, Mom met Dad, Thomas Arlington "Tom" Reed, of Sunnyside, WA. They eventually married May 14, 1943 in Weiser, ID while Dad was in the Navy and home on leave, during World War II. Mom and Dad were sealed in the Idaho Falls Temple on Feb 21, 1964. Mom served many years faithfully in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in many stake and ward callings and especially many years as a Seminary Teacher. She was truly loved by the many students she taught and she loved them too. Mom served a mission with Dad in the Minnesota Minneapolis Mission of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, for 18 months, beginning Nov. 1978, returning home in May1980.Luceille was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Arlington Reed, parents, Marion H. and Florence E. (Fogg) Harmon, all five of her brothers, three sisters, and one great granddaughter. She is survived by her three children, Tom and Susan Reed of Caldwell, ID, Joyce Ann and Fred Anderson of Lehi, UT, Mark and Christina Reed of Payette, ID, 22 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Jordan Willows 7th Ward Missionary Fund, c/o Bishop Troy Casper, 1877 West Grays Place, Lehi, UT 84043.
