

Lynn Jay Feveryear Jr., a beloved and cherished soul, passed away on December 20, 2025, at the age of 85. Born on August 16, 1940, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Lynn Jay Feveryear Sr. and Lucy Clark, Lynn's life was a tapestry of hard work and inspiration.
Lynn's early years were marked by a dedication to education, culminating in his graduation from the University of Utah. His career was defined by his pride in service as a United States Marine and his significant contributions to Salt Lake County. As a grant writer and eventually the director for the Salt Lake County Community and Economic Development Association, Lynn was very proud of his many accomplishments.
On July 21, 1981, Lynn married Terry Mortensen Feveryear in Salt Lake City, Utah, beginning a new chapter filled with love and family. He is survived by his wife, Terry Feveryear, his stepchildren, Sean Clissold and Tracy Clissold, and three beautiful grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Amy Feveryear.
A graveside service will be held in his honor at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, located at 3401 Highland Dr, Millcreek, Utah, on January 2, 2026, at 1:00 pm.
Lynn's legacy of dedication and love will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him.
