Randy Palmer

Randy L Palmer, 58, of Los Angeles, CA, died May 1, 2017 in his sleep at his care home as a result of pneumonia. He was born April 30, 1958 in Ogden, UT to Carl & Laura Maxine Palmer. He was raised in both Winnemucca and Elko, NV attending Elko High school where he graduated.

Randy was raised in his younger years in Winnemucca then we moved to Elko when Randy was a teen. In his 20’s he was a driller in Elko for a couple different drilling companies. When he left Elko he moved to SLC, UT for awhile then to Seattle where he worked in the ship yards as a welder. He later left and went to California and was a handy man until he was badly injured and could no longer work.

Randy is survived by his children Sarina, Bobby Lynn, JJ and William, his mother Maxine and his siblings Rick, Carla, Ron, Russ, Salli, Linda and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He came to Davis County in Sept. 2016 so that his sister Salli could help care for him.

Services will be held Friday May 19th at 11 a.m. at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park 3401 Highland Drive; Salt Lake City, Utah 84106. In Lieu of flowers the family asks that you consider donations to the Alzheimer’s Association @ alz.org. Both Randy and his father had this terrible disease.
