Reuvo Chamberlain Bagley passed away May 11, 2011 in Holladay, Utah. She was born December 20, 1922 in Kanab, Utah, to Justin and Helen Mar Bunker Chamberlain. Reuvo grew up in Kanab and always loved the red soil of Southern Utah. She attended Utah State University where she met her eternal companion through her accordion playing. She married David Cyrene Bagley, son of Cyrene Neff and Martha Edna Davidson Bagley, on October 10, 1944 in the Salt Lake Temple. Reuvo lived and raised a family in Cottonwood, Utah, and on the family ranch in Callao, Utah. An active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she served a mission to the West Virginia, Charleston Mission with her sweetheart in 1988. She loved playing the organ and piano for Church meetings.
She is survived by her children, Amy Marie (Melvin R.) Wright, Charles David (Ann) Bagley, Nancy (A. Bryce) Hanks, Ruth (Jarl K., Jr) Jacobson, and Beth (Don V.) Anderson; twenty grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren; siblings H. Mar Pugh, J. Bevan (Betty) Chamberlain, and Mary Lou (Pat) McAllister; sisters- and brothers-in-law, Marian Woodward, Jean (Harvey) Lloyd, Frank Davidson (Marlene) Bagley, and Catherine (Frank) Reese. Preceded in death by her husband, David Cyrene Bagley; parents, Justin and Helen Mar Chamberlain; brother S. Burt Chamberlain and his wife Joy, brother-in-law Robert Pugh, sister-in-law Norma E. Chamberlain, and brother-in-law DL Woodward.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Cottonwood 14th Ward Chapel, 2080 East 5165 South, Holladay, Utah. Friends and family may call Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 South Highland Drive and Tuesday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment at Elysian Burial Gardens, 1075 East 4580 South, Murray, Utah.
