Suzanna Dicou

Suzanna VanLeeuwen Dicou, age 85 passed away peacefully July 15, 2020 after a long fight with vascular dementia. She was born September 19, 1934 in Delft, Netherlands to Karel Govert and Catharina Koelmans VanLeeuwen. She immigrated with her family to the United States in 1953. Suzanna married Cornelius B. Dicou in May of 1956 in the Salt Lake City Temple. He preceded her in death in December of 1995.

Suzanna loved to be around and take care of people. A job that suited her servant heart was being the compassionate service leader in her church which she did for 27 years until her health condition made it impossible to continue. She had many loving friends that she enjoyed spending time with each week.

Most of all she loved her family and instilled in her children strong values that have served them well.

She was the beloved mother of Mark Dicou (Annette), Dorothy Bennion (Jan, deceased), Cheryl Norton (Les), Jennifer Dicou and Paul Dicou. Proud grandmother of Andrew, Aaron, Cameron, Callie, Bryce, LA, Laci, Robyn and Grace. She was “GG” to Landon, Ian, Corbin and Talin.

She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.
