

Utahna was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and was very active in church and civic activities. She loved her heavenly father and was a good witness for him, and she is in her eternal home.
She attended Utah State University and the University of Utah where she learned Russian and not only had the opportunity to travel there but returned to Utah to go on to teach it to high school students. She was also a secondary education teacher for behaviorally challenged youngsters. She received many accolades during her career.
She married Fred Babcock on June 14th, 1966 in Salt Lake City. They enjoyed the arts, spending many years attending the Shakespearean Festival in Cedar City, often bringing family along with them. They also enjoyed season tickets to Capitol Theater.
She was very patient and caring, loved the outdoors and going on cruises with her family and friends. She had many pets throughout her life and took care of dogs, cats and birds with love. She was an avid quilter and spent many a Jazz game hand quilting blankets for her children and grandchildren.

Utahna is survived by her son Rand (Lynda) Babcock, daughter Shelly (Richard) Johnson, granddaughter Destiny (Eric) Garrett, grandson Nate (Nessa) Babcock and grandchildren Aiden, Aerie and Atticus Garret and Lily and Vivienne Babcock.
She is preceded by her husband Fred, mother Eugenia Williams, father Joseph Williams and brother Robert Williams.
