William Robert Farley Sr., age 92, passed away September 27, 2014 in Salt Lake City, UT. He was born September 21, 1922 in Salt Lake City, UT to William A. Farley and Elsie Mae Lund. He attended East High School and later married Myrna Jo Butters on May 10, 1962 in Jackson Hole, WY.
He was on the Board of Directors for Key Bank, and also was owner of Intermountain Piper Aircraft until retirement. He was a veteran of World War II.
He is survived by his wife Myrna Jo Farley; children Diana (Jerry) Checketts of Ogden, Pamela (Bob) Finder of Liberty, Gail (Scott) Boyd of Centerville, Jamie (Karen) Lott of Sandy; siblings Richard Clark (Lynn) Farley of California, Donna Roach of Nevada; 17 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son William Robert Farley Jr., daughter Myndy Baumgartner and brother-in-law Jack Roach.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, October 3, 2014 at 3PM at Mountain View Cemetery located at 3115 East 7800 South Salt Lake City, UT.
