

William Rodney Soha passed away on November 15, 2025. He was born on March 30, 1941 in Great Falls, Montana. He loved where he came from and would often talk about growing up in Montana when he got older. Bill joined the Air National Guard in 1958 and served for 2 years. He went to Los Angeles to get his radio license in 1961. In 1962, he moved to Utah after accepting a position with AT&T where he worked for 30 years, including time in Colorado and California. He married Vicki Marie Waagen on October 15, 1965 in Salt Lake City, Utah. They were sealed in the Oakland temple in 1979.
He attended Ricks College in 1960 and later graduated from the University of Utah in 1976 with honors. He then worked for the State of Utah for 15 years in telecommunications. After retiring in 2009, he was restless so he went to work at Sam’s Club until early this year. He loved working with his hands, especially wood working, and could fix anything. He also loved working on cars and was a voracious reader. He was a kind, gentle man who deeply loved his family and was known for his integrity. He was preceded in death by his parents John and Druscilla Soha, brother Greg Soha, sisters Vicki Cushing and Sandra Marturello, and granddaughter Shanate Alexandria. He is survived by his wife Vicki, sister Susan Rohrer (Keith), sons Adam, Justin (Allissa), and Seth (Greta), and grandsons Jordan, Colton, and Garrett.
