Carol, it was a beautiful funeral today.  We took a few wrong turns in finding your chapel, but arrived in time for the funeral, but not in enough time to give you our personal love and condolences.  We did by coincidence sit next to Tim's in-laws.  Your Bishop gave a wonderful talk, and I especially enjoyed seeing all your handsome boys sing with their children--very touching.  You have been in our prayers, and we put you and your family on the Logan Temple prayer roll.  We are so grateful to have known Wynn, and to call you both our friends.  Remember the surprise baby shower they had for you and me--then my son Cody was born a day or two before the shower, so I wasn't able to go.  We do so appreciate your thoughtfulness in having your daughter-in-law call to tell us about Wynn.  We have had you both in our thoughts and prayers since then.  We send our love.

I will always cherish the time I spent with with Wynn and his sons at the National Scout Jamboree(s). He always managed to keep me laughing during those days at the Jamboree that I thought would never end.

Dearest Carol and Family, Wynn was an amazing example to so many. I can!t even imagine how many lives he touched in his service through the Boy Scouts of America as a leader and mentor.
