Aidan Van Vu

Aidan Van Vu was born on June 27, 2002 in La Jolla, California before he and his family moved to Sound Beach, New York. He graduated from Rocky Point High School in 2020 and was studying psychology at SUNY Purchase. He spent much of his time working at the Little Flower School, where he was beloved by the many students whose lives he touched.

Aidan found so much joy in the company of his family and friends. He was always present, whether playing hockey with his cousins and video games with friends, or setting up a keyboard so his grandparents could enjoy music. Aidan shared a special bond with his cousins and was always able to make them laugh, often without even trying.

Aidan loved skateboarding and fishing, but most of all, music. He was an exceptionally gifted guitarist whose abilities transcended the ordinary. To Aidan, the guitar was not just an instrument, but a part of who he was, and his playing was felt deeply in the hearts of his loved ones.

His loving parents, three adoring sisters, exceptionally close group of cousins, grandparents, family, and friends will forever miss him. Aidan was loved and cherished, and his memory will last lifetimes, forever anchored by the warmth of his big and loving heart.
