I only knew Barney a short time as a brother Knight but heard many great stories about his dedication to St Jude's Council. He as well has his family will be in my prayers. May he rest in the arms of the Lord.

He has been, and will always be, a mainstay at St. Jude's Council.  His memory will continue his presence at the meetings.  Quiet, efficient, a most effective gentleman of the "old school," he epitomizes what a true knight should be.  I am grateful that our Heavenly Father allowed me to have the gift of knowing him during his mortality.  May he rest in the arms of Jesus for all time.
To his family, I ask that you accept my most sincere and heartfelt condolences.

The loss of Barney,  my  Brother Knight , deeply saddens me. He will be truly missed, and I will include him in my prayers.

Please also know that I am praying for your family that you all get through this tough time. May Gods bless you all!

Today I heard some sad news. My uncle Bernie passed away. I want to send my condolences to my Aunt Barbara, my cousin’s and their families. Our prayers are with you during this difficult time.  My memories I share growing up of Uncle Bernie are a kind, gentle, humble man with a wonderful sense of humor. He blessed so many people with his faith and kindness. He always would make you smile and laugh. Much like his brother(my dad). They will both meet on the other side and lets wonder who cracks the first joke. That’s what I remember. 
For each petal on the shamrock, this brings a prayer your way. 
God bless you.

There are too many memories to list.  I met Barney when I joined the Knights of Columbus.  Barney was Financial Secretary at that time and it was only later I learned he had been Grand Knight.
Over the years we worked together as Knights as I considered him a good friend.  I was very sorry to hear of his passing.  May he go with God and we will pray for him always.
