We are so very sorry to hear of the loss of our friend, Officer Chuck Vroom. We first met Officer Vroom as we were renovating our soon to be Motorcycle shop in 2009. We were working very late into the night. Suddenly this towering policeman walked in, stepping carefully over all our equipment and wanted to know who was running this operation.  We quickly gave him an answer. He had such a strong presence and made us feel safe and compliant all at the same time.  It was always a welcome sight when he would visit us at the Motorcycle shop with his son Sean.  After we relocated and opened an RC Hobby Shop, he found us again. Sean and his friend came by today and we reminisced about his Dad. Chuck Vroom was a great Dad, friend, and family man. He will be missed.

Can someone please contact me i have been friends with chuck for 23 years.  We were partners in the 115.  I have been leaving messages for him and calling. He always calls me right back. I knew something was wrong. Sean if you get this message please call me at 631-649 6656.  

Oh Chuck- please say it’s not true.  I remember in high school when you, Karl and Tony used to come by my house and just hang for a bit.  Always a polite gentlemen.  Fun memories at Nem’s house too.  I saw you a few years ago on a scenic boat cruise with your wife.  I just can’t believe it.  My deepest condolences to your entire family.  I am so sorry.  Rest easy in heaven.  

Hundreds!  Chuck and I spent hundreds of hours talking on the phone during our middle and high school years.  We attended youth group together and the same school.  Minutes after getting home from school the phone would ring and it was always Chuck.  We talked until dinner, we talked after dinner, we talked until we were told to get off the phone. I appreciated his friendship. I’m happy to hear he was doing what he dreamed. My condolences to his family.

A gentleman, a guardian, a caring friend.  Chuck was always there when needed, going above and beyond to anticipate needs and care for others.  He had a heart of gold and I will miss Chuck more than words can say.  He will live in my heart forever.  God bless Chuck and give him a special place in heaven for heroes.
