

Diane M. Quinn passed on April 8, 2026, at the age of 63. Diane was a resident of Middle Island, New York. A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away leaving behind a legacy of strength, compassion, and unwavering love.
She was married to her devoted husband, Donald, for 36 wonderful years after the two met at the Viscardi Center, a place that marked the beginning of a lifelong partnership filled with dedication and deep affection. Diane was the cherished mother of three daughters: Katie and her husband Patrick, Amanda and her husband Christopher, and Brittany and her fiancé Joseph. She was the proud and adoring grandmother of Grayson Anthony, truly the light of her life.
She is also lovingly remembered by her many brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless close friends whose lives she touched in meaningful and lasting ways.
Diane worked as a garden nursery florist for several years, where her love for nature and beauty shone through in all she created. Her passions extended far beyond her work, she found joy in crocheting, knitting, quilting, camping, cooking, baking, and swimming. Anyone who knew Diane also knew her home and heart were always open to animals; she rescued hundreds over the years, offering them care, safety, and love.
A pillar of her community, Diane served as a PTA president, a religion teacher, and a Girl Scout troop leader. She dedicated her life to guiding and uplifting others, always striving to make people, and animals better, safer, and more loved.
Diane embodied what it means to be beloved, brave, cherished, compassionate, devoted, faithful, generous, gentle, hardworking, honest, humorous, inspirational, kind-hearted, loyal, patient, resilient, selfless, thoughtful, wise, and strong. Her resilience was unmatched, she faced life’s challenges time and time again with courage and determination, earning her reputation as someone who could endure and overcome anything.
Her light and strength were truly infectious. Being in her presence made others feel capable, hopeful, and empowered.
In honoring Diane’s life and legacy, the family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered.
Visitation will be held at O. B. Davis Funeral Homes, 1001 Route 25a, Miller Place, NY 11764, US, on April 12, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
A Catholic Funeral Mass will be held at St Mark's RC Church, 105 Randall Rd, Shoreham, NY 11786, US, on April 13, 2026, from 10:30 am to 11:15 am.
A Committal Service will be held at St. Charles / Resurrection Cemeteries, 2015 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, NY 11735, US, on April 13, 2026, from 12:30 pm to 1:00 pm.
