Cantwell Edward F. (57 yrs) of Sound Beach, NY. Devoted and beloved son of Eileen Lavin Cantwell, and cherished brother of Ellen (Bruce) Kretschmer and Dorothy (John) Cantwell-McCabe. Adored Uncle of Bruce Kretschmer Jr, Halley Kretschmer and Daniel, Jennifer and Jack McCabe. Edward leaves behind many, many friends and family members who enriched his life and brought him great joy, from Sound Beach, Wantagh, The Rosemary Kennedy Center in North Bellmore where he worked for 20 years, and Marco Island, Florida. Edward inspired all of us with his humor, gentleness and pure and loving heart. Family will be receiving visitors at OB Davis Funeral Home in Miller Place, on Saturday May 18th and Sunday, May 19th from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral mass will be held at St Louis de Montfort Roman Catholic Church at 11:15 am on Monday, May 20th, He will be laid to rest with his grandparents, John and Dorothy Lavin at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery in Coram, NY.
